How It All Started
The Idea
A group of digital freelancers in Kano noticed that most online learning resources were in English only — making them inaccessible to millions of talented young people in Northern Nigeria.
The Platform Launches
VextaLearn launched with 10 courses in Hausa and English. Within three months, over 1,000 students had enrolled.
Rapid Growth
We expanded to 50+ courses, added a community forum, job board, and certificate system. Students began earning on Fiverr, Upwork, and local platforms.
The Future
With 5,000+ students and growing, we're building Africa's largest Hausa-language skills platform. Every week, more Northern Nigerian youth earn their first freelance income through VextaLearn.
